A lot of  people want to know what side effect would they have to deal with after quitting smoking. Here are some of the side effects yo might expect.

1- Hunger - hunger ,craving for food especially for sweets is the first thing that you’ll notice when you quit smoking.the reason for that is that once you stop smoking your blood sugar drops and you body demand sugar ,and how do you get sugar?you eat .You eat sweets cause they  have high concentration of sugar in them The problem is that sugar doesn’t dissolve immediately it takes 20-25 minute and until the body receives the first hit of sugar you simply continue to eat . Do that over a week and suddenly you notice a bit of a weight gain which is something woman are terrified off .

They rather continue smoking then gaining weight.To combat this affect and to slow down the craving it is recommended that you drink fresh fruit juice in the first week this will help remove the nicotine faster from your body and also deliver the required sugar faster thus controlling you craving .

2-Headache ,dizziness : Both of these symptoms  are strongly related to the same issue of blood sugar level dropping after you quit.

3-Feeling  irritable and on the edge : These symptoms are directly related to your nicotine withdrawals. You’re  starving your body from the nicotine and these are the symptoms you’d expect until you get over the addiction. The good thing is, it only takes few days till your body removes most of the poisons out of your body and these symptoms will decrease day after day.

4- Dry cough, insomnia,constipation : Are other side effect that you are likely to come across .You are not sick it’s just your body is trying to correct it self .

Look!! i can honestly tell you that no matter what, the first week is going to be hell  you’d sometimes feel like you want to pull your hair out, or scream your head off just as a release,and that’s something that we all go through while trying to get off the nicotine wagon.The main thing to remember is that benefits of giving up smoking are much greater then the concern of temporary side effect cause they are just that temporary.

If you can’t handle those side effect but you still want o give up then use  quit smoking aids to reduce the transition or try hypnotherapy as alternative method.
